Thank you for supporting the new UK Police Memorial

Thank you for supporting the UK Police Memorial Project. The physical memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum is just one element of this ambitious project.

We still need to raise funds for the other three elements which include:

  • A digital memorial containing the names of over 4,000 men and women from our Police service who have died on duty, including the development of a number of enhanced tributes that tell the personal stories of those behind the badge, with interviews with family, friends and colleagues.
  • An education programme that will highlight the history of the Police service and focus on the role it serves in a modern society. Our aim is to develop an education hub to provide informed learning for students and support teaching professionals in the delivery of key milestones within the National Curriculum and a broader education framework.
  • A living Memorial Fund to pay for ongoing maintenance of the Memorial at the Arboretum, including the construction of walls engraved with the names of members of the police service who have been killed.
